How to Use Saltd. Magnesium Oil

Our high-quality pure magnesium oil is designed for daily use to support sleep, muscle recovery, relaxation, and overall well-being. Follow our simple guide below for the best results.

For Adults

✔️ For Sleep Support:

Spray 4–6 sprays onto your feet and stomach before bed and gently massage in.  Best to allow to dry for 5-10 minutes before covering up (with clothing, socks, or bed covers).

✔️ For Muscle Recovery & Joint Support:

Apply 4–6 sprays directly to sore muscles or joints and massage in.  Great to use directly after a workout, training session, or event - just spray onto the muscles or area of the body you are feeling tension, massage in and allow to dry for a few minutes.  This method means the magnesium is going straight to the area of the body that is needing it the most!

✔️ For Energy & Daily Well-Being:

Spray 4–6 sprays onto your feet, legs, back, or stomach in the morning, evening, or throughout the day as needed.  Using magnesium oil spray daily and consistently is key here to elevate your well-being.

✔️ For Restless Legs:

For those that suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) spray 4–6 sprays onto your legs and feet daily in the evening or before bed and massage in.  For relief when you have or feel the restless sensation starting, spray directly on to the leg/s (or affected area of the body) and massage in.

For those that suffer from cramps (whether it is muscle cramps in the legs, feet, toes, or from a musculoskeletal disorder, or even PMS or cramps during your period), magnesium oil spray is excellent for easing and relieving any cramping in the body.  Spray 4–6 sprays onto the affected area of the body and massage in to ease cramping and reduce pain and tension.  Using magnesium oil spray daily and consistently is key here to elevate your well-being, we recommend using it each evening / daily to help prevent cramping occurring.

Use our specially formulated Saltd. Magnesium Oil for Kids for a more mild, gentle solution, that still gives your little ones the ultimate support for their growing body's and minds.

Spray 2–6 sprays onto their feet and stomach before bed and gently massage in.  Best to allow to dry for 5-10 minutes before covering up (with clothing, socks, or bed covers).  We recommend creating a calming bedtime ritual incorporating magnesium oil spray into their nighttime routine for your little ones.  They'll love the consistency in the routine, and it's a great time to connect (a spray and foot massage, followed by a story and cuddles together before it's time to drift off to sleep).

Spray 2–6 sprays on sore or growing muscles and massage in.  Great to relieve and say goodbye for good to growing pains, sore or tired wee muscles, or calm busy minds or restless body's.

Helpful Tips for Use:

  • Use daily for the best results.
  • Massage or rub in once applied - this helps to absorb better and you receive the best results!
  • A slight tingling sensation is normal and may indicate low magnesium levels—this usually reduces over time.
  • If tingling occurs, try diluting with water or applying over a moisturiser or coconut oil.
  • Do not apply to broken or freshly shaved skin.
  • Magnesium Oil is a salt spray (hence our name - Saltd.) so do not apply it any part of the body that has cuts, scratches, abrasions, broken skin, freshly shaved skin, open wounds, eczema, or rashes, or to genitals, eyes, or mouth areas.
  • Your body absorbs only what it needs—excess magnesium will not be absorbed.
  • We recommend starting out using only on your feet for a week or so, to allow the body to adjust and start to absorb what it needs.  Then you can increase the amount of sprays, and/or use on other parts of the body (stomach, legs, arms, back, neck etc).
  • Always patch test first.  While our products are gentle, we recommend doing a patch test before full use, especially if you have sensitive skin.  Simply apply a small amount (1 spray) of magnesium oil to a small area oof your skin (such as the inside of your wrist or elbow) and wait 24 hours.  If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
  • Saltd. products are safe, natural and pure, designed for everyBODY.  We do recommend consulting with your GP, medical practitioner or specialist, or midwife if you have any chronic or ongoing health issues, if you are pregnant or postpartum, or if you are unsure if it is right for you during this season of your life.

How to Use Saltd. Magnesium Bath Flakes for Kids

Magnesium baths are a gentle and natural way to support your child’s relaxation, sleep, muscle recovery, and overall well-being. Our 100% pure magnesium chloride flakes are safe for children 3 months and older.

✔️ For a full bath (ages 1+): Add ½–1 cup of flakes to warm bath water and let your child soak for 10–20 minutes.

✔️ For a foot soak (ages 3+): Add ¼ cup of flakes to a small basin of warm water and let your child soak their feet for 10–15 minutes.

✔️ For babies (3+ months): Add 1–2 tablespoons of flakes to a warm bath and let them soak for 5–10 minutes.

Helpful Tips:

  • Start with a lower amount of flakes for younger children and increase gradually.
  • If your child has sensitive skin, ensure the water is warm (not hot) and limit soak time.
